Supposed

There’s so much that we’re “supposed” to do.
So much that we forget that we’re supposed to let the world leave ourselves on our own.
Because isn’t “supposed” what the world wants us to do?

Darling, the world hates unwanted burden like me and you.

What are your thoughts about being supposed to do so many things?

I haven’t written in a long time. I’m pretty sure it’s just a phase.

  1. I think you have that about right, Anu. Too bad for the world, it’s always been it’s unwanted burdens who have gradually — all too gradually — been the only ones to ever improve it.

    By the way, did you mean “burden” or “burdens”?
